SURVEYS to map out a new cemetery to last more than 100 years in Stockton are set for launch. This rise, coupled with space running low in the recently extended Durham Road cemetery, saw a review which backed the creation of a 17-acre cemetery. The committee probe asked leaders to back a new burial ground accessible by public transport using land already owned by the authority.
